Job Description:

ObserveID is seeking highly experienced and eager Business Development Leads (BDL) to join our fast-growing team. These BDL’s must have expertise and skills in outbound selling within the IT industry, and more specifically, Cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity marketplace. The role will include the research, identification, and tracking of new prospects based on ObserveID’s established guidelines and policies. Engagement with prospective clients must be handled through professional and organic communications with the purpose of obtaining high quality qualified leads for introductory meetings with ObserveID’s internal senior sales team.

The successful candidates will work in an agile environment, on an antonymous basis. Using internal marketing resources and external contacts, this role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The candidate must be able to learn and understand the core business processes of ObserveID, be able to speak at a high level about the hybrid and multicloud environment, and recognize various existing complementary and competing products and platforms in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality sales leads
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, consistent with the ethos of the organization
  • Maintain accurate tracking and follow-up with prospects
  • Report to company COO on a weekly basis with pipeline updates

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience selling and communicating by telephone, in-person, and through Zoom (or other platforms)
  • Knowledge of the Cybersecurity and IT industries
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand technical product details
